2019 Hall Of Fame Winner

L H Kinnard Chapter is pleased to announce that Carroll Williams of the LeHigh Valley Club has been chosen to be the Chapter Hall of Fame recipient for 2019

Carroll has been a Pioneer since 1968 and upon retiring became a Life Member of the Lehigh Valley Club.  Carroll has served as Club President in the years 1997-1999, 2010-2011, and 2016-2017.  Carroll has been instrumental in procuring and delivering Dictionaries to area Elementary Schools, painting US Maps on School Playgrounds and developing a local Club Pioneer website, delivering hug a Bears to the PA State Police, collecting food items for food drives, distributing Chemo Bears to the hospital for the Pediatric Cancer patients at the local Hospital. Carroll has headed candy fundraising projects during the Christmas and Easter Seasons. Carroll helped to protect the Lehigh Valley River by helping to test the waters

Carroll arranged for people from Association of BellTel Retirees to come to our local area and inform members of what is new on the retiree side of the business and answer questions that may arise.  Carroll continues to hold these meeting every 2 years.

Carroll has been a very helpful mentor to Ed Bleiler, while Ed was getting his feet wet as Club President and fills for Ed when Ed is not available to conduct meetings. Carroll is always willing to help and to chat with anyone he meets about Pioneering.

Carroll has also been very involved with his local community as an Explorer Scout Troop Leader, Carroll has held many positions with the Lehigh Valley Federal Credit Union, The International Electrical & Electronic Engineers Inc. (IEEE), Chairman of IEEE’s Philadelphia Selection (1975-6) and Chairman Philadelphia Section’s Communications Society (1972), these credits are just a few of Carroll’s many accomplishments as the list continues to go on.

Carroll is a fine example of a good citizen who keeps involved with what is going on in his community. Carroll is also a fine example of what Pioneering is all about, being there as a volunteer to help when needed.

L H Kinnard Chapter is very proud to name Carroll Williams as our 2019 Chapter Hall of Fame Recipient
